About the Role
The Senior Process Engineer ensures safe and economic design for the company’s range of process packages, meeting internal and international codes & standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensures simulations and calculations are in compliance with project specifications, standards and design codes
- Optimises designs to minimise overall cost of company’s products
- Thoroughly checks process documentation for technical accuracy
- Represents the company at HAZOP / SIL and other design meetings
- Addresses technical enquiries and comments from clients and 3rd parties
- Identifies key process design factors through detailed review of project specifications
- Performs and reviews concept designs
- Reviews technical aspects of bid submissions
- Performs and reviews calculations required in the design of both packages and individual components
- Conducts technical review of complex bought out item quotations
- Provides technical guidance to junior members of the company
- Maintains a fundamental technical understanding of all the company’s products
Requirements
- 8+ years of process design experience within the Oil & Gas or related industries
- Strong expertise in process simulations, engineering calculations, and international design standards
- Familiarity with different international standards for process design
- Familiarity with HYSYS / VMG for process simulation
