About the Role
K&G Fashion Superstore is seeking Receiving Associates to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient merchandise processing and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and productivity of the receiving process.
- Ensure merchandise is correctly checked in, ticketed, hung, folded, tagged, and delivered to the proper staging or selling floor area.
- Input all receiving information into the Store Receiving and Transfer (SRT) System and Manager’s Workstation accurately and timely.
- Maintain all receiving paperwork and files.
- Process RTVs, transfers, and damaged merchandise in a timely and accurate manner according to Company procedures.
- Ensure proper receiving procedures are used to eliminate and/or control inventory shortages and overages.
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift.
- Ability to frequently bend, squat, and twist.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb a ladder to reach merchandise and/or supplies.
