About the Role
You will own a product area from customer conversation to revenue, including vision, roadmap, execution, and launch. Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams to drive impact in areas like AI for back-office operations, advisor tools, growth, or the underlying platform.
Responsibilities
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product area, prioritizing effectively to ensure key initiatives ship.
- Engage closely with customers, including advisors and the operations team, to identify and prioritize valuable problems to solve.
- Utilize tools like Claude Code or Cursor for rapid prototyping to validate ideas with users before engineering commitment.
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, design, data, sales, marketing, operations) through the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and adoption.
- Define and track key metrics to measure the success and business impact of your product area, understanding its revenue and operational costs.
- Write clear, concise specifications that facilitate decision-making.
- Contribute to shaping product development practices within an AI-native company.
Requirements
- 5+ years in product management, or equivalent experience as an engineer or founder, preferably at a fast-growing startup.
- Demonstrated daily use and practical application of AI tools like Claude, Claude Code, or Cursor in building products.
- Understanding of AI product mechanics, including prompting, retrieval, and evaluation, and awareness of model limitations.
- Proficiency in commercial aspects, including pricing, unit economics, and go-to-market strategies.
- Strong product intuition and sufficient technical depth to collaborate effectively with engineers.
- Comfort and skill in analyzing data and identifying potential inaccuracies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Low ego and high sense of ownership, with a focus on problem-solving over making excuses.
