About the Role
OneFourTwo Design Group is seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Designer passionate about the design process to join their team in Atlanta, GA. The firm is a full-service design firm offering services including Creative Design, Project Management, Master Planning, Interior Design, and Structural Analysis and Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Assist with site and space planning for construction project managers
- Research building codes, local zoning, and business park covenants
- Prepare presentation drawings, diagrams, and renderings to clearly convey design ideas
- Review project scope with construction project managers
- Produce architectural documents for permit submittal and construction
- Review and coordinate construction documents with construction project managers and consultants
- Develop preliminary designs into construction documents
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
- 2+ years of relevant design experience
- Ability to develop presentation drawings (colored site plan and elevations) and construction drawings
- Revit experience
- Experience in standard Microsoft & Adobe Suite software (Photoshop, Word, etc.) is preferred
- AutoCAD and Lumion/Sketchup experience is preferred
