About the Role
Embedded Board Support Package (BSP) Software Engineer with C++ experience in embedded real-time software development. This role supports existing, new, and next-generation military communications applications. Responsibilities include responding to bid proposals, deriving software requirements, creating designs, adding features, and developing applications.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience, OR In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- 6+ years embedded software engineering experience.
- Experience configuring and patching U-boot and Linux for an embedded system.
- Experience configuring the root file system for an embedded system.
- Experience with Linux device trees.
- Experience with the Linux boot process on an embedded system.
- Experience with BASH scripting.
- Significant C++ experience.
- Experience debugging hardware.
- Experience designing and implementing software for embedded devices from requirements to production using C and C++ in a cross-compiled environment.
- Experience assessing third-party and open-source software license documentation.
- Familiarity with code revision management tools such as Git/Bitbucket/Clearcase.
- DoD SECRET security clearance or be qualified to obtain one.
