About the Role
As a Southern Star Starlink Technician, you'll install and service Starlink, the high-speed satellite internet connecting homes across rural and underserved communities. You'll be a technology ambassador who gets customers online and shows them how to make the most of their new service.
Responsibilities
- Install and service Starlink equipment.
- Act as a technology ambassador, assisting customers with their new service.
- Offer customers additional products and services during installs.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Ability to climb ladders up to 38 ft.
- Ability to work in crawl spaces.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Must pass a background check, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Record check.

Salary/Compensations
- Training/Base pay rate of $17.00 per hour.
- Base rate increases $0.50 upon completion of 60 days of employment.
- Guaranteed Hourly Rate of $20.00 per hour upon completion of training through your first 9 months.
