About the Role
Seasons Supermarkets is seeking an experienced part-time Kitchen Staff member to maintain kitchen efficiency and cleanliness at our Scarsdale location. This role involves assisting with food preparation and ensuring all areas meet food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Clean all dishes, workstations, cooking equipment, and food storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Receive, lift, handle, and store food deliveries.
- Retrieve food items as requested by chefs.
- Assist with food preparation, including sandwiches and salads.
- Wash dishes, pots, and utensils.
- Ensure working areas are kept clear.
Requirements
- Ability to work fast, efficiently, and in a controlled manner.
- Ability to operate as a team member and get along with others.
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to accept supervisory training related to performance, attitude, and work habits.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical duties, including lifting, climbing, walking, and standing for long periods.
- Good communication and people skills.
