About the Role
We're looking for a curious, resourceful builder to join our Orion team as a Solutions Engineer. Orion works at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Engineering. You'll work directly with customers to understand their problems, build pilots and automations using our APIs, and help turn successful experiments into product capabilities that can scale to more customers. This role is a great fit for someone with 2 to 4 years of experience who loves solving problems, enjoys building things, and wants to learn quickly.
Responsibilities
- Build pilots and automations using Nirvana's APIs, scripts, and automation tools to demonstrate technology value.
- Solve customer problems by joining sales conversations, understanding current workflows, and identifying automation opportunities.
- Push product boundaries by experimenting with new ways to improve accuracy and detection rates of eligibility products.
- Shape product roadmap by collaborating with Product and Engineering to translate pilot learnings into product improvements.
- Demonstrate value by explaining built solutions, measuring pilot impact, and communicating results to stakeholders.
- Make what works repeatable by documenting solutions, sharing lessons, and turning successful pilots into reusable assets.
Requirements
- A builder's mindset with experience in coding, connecting APIs, building automations, or experimenting with tools.
- Technical curiosity and comfort learning and hands-on with technology.
- Resourcefulness in figuring out solutions for undefined problems.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and improve issues.
- Communication skills for asking questions, working with teams, and explaining technical ideas.
- Ownership and initiative, with the ability to see things through and learn from feedback.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing, or analytical role (e.g., software engineering, implementation, data analysis, technical consulting).
- Ability to learn, build, and solve problems is most important.
