About the Role

As a Product Management Intern, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of fan engagement. By bridging player sentiment, moderation insights, and platform analytics, you will help continuously improve the fan experience based on real-time feedback enabling senior Product Management leaders to drive strategic, portfolio-wide initiatives across EA's gaming communities. This internship is designed to offer hands-on, full-lifecycle product experience: from identifying a core fan problem and defining hypotheses, to designing solutions and presenting actionable recommendations to executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery sessions to break down complex community challenges into clear problem statements, user personas, and customer journey maps.
  • Research emerging trends in gaming community platforms, moderation tooling, and social engagement mechanics to uncover new product opportunities.
  • Provide feature recommendations and prioritization based on research and data analytics.
  • Track and analyze key platform metrics, including daily active engagement, thread creation, Accepted Solution findability, and moderation health.
  • Synthesize telemetry, survey responses, and forum interaction data into digestible dashboards and executive readouts.
  • Partner closely with Community Operations, Engineering, Experience Design, Player Safety, and Studio Publishing partners.
  • Own an end-to-end discovery-to-recommendation project focused on a high-impact EA Forums initiative, culminating in a final presentation to Fan Care leadership.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Must be graduating no earlier than December 2027.
  • Demonstrated interest or foundational coursework in Product Management, User Experience, or Digital Platform operations.
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting qualitative feedback and quantitative data (Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, or dash-boarding tools like Tableau/Looker).
