  • Complete preventive and corrective maintenance work orders, maintaining accurate records through ROM's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Provide technical and operational support for overnight events, film shoots, and after-hours programming.
  • Support monitoring, maintenance, and emergency call-outs at ROM's off-site storage facilities.

  • BES (Building Environmental Systems, Class I/II), Ontario 4th class certification, or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and experience.
  • A minimum of three to five (3–5) years of skilled experience maintaining and repairing mechanical and building systems in a commercial, institutional, or similarly complex environment.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems, including familiarity with building automation systems (BAS), controls, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical problems independently, exercise sound judgment under pressure, and respond effectively to urgent operational situations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills, including comfort using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Valid WHMIS, Standard First Aid/CPR, and Working at Heights certification, or the ability to obtain these before starting.
  • Gas Technician (G2/G3) and Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) certifications are assets.
