About the Role
This role is responsible for unloading and delivering products to customers, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and operating commercial motor vehicles and material handling equipment. The position also involves picking up returned products and completing related paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Unload and deliver products to customers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
- Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle, including conveyors and carts.
- Securely operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck.
- Pick up returned products, including payments and pallets.
- Complete delivery and pick up paperwork.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years old.
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Must have 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience.
- Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds.
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends, OT, and Holidays.
- Must be comfortable delivering throughout the 5 boroughs.
