About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Manager to lead Consumer Growth Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for New Verticals. This role will shape how we bring priority merchants, categories, and customer behaviors to market, focusing on structuring GTM opportunities and guiding teams on prioritization and execution. You will own the business strategy for major growth initiatives, defining customer opportunities, sizing potential, recommending investments, setting goals, and translating insights into GTM plans. This is a highly visible role requiring data analysis, strategic thinking, and cross-functional alignment with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own Consumer Growth GTM strategy, leading strategy development for priority New Verticals growth moments including merchant launches, category expansion, seasonal occasions, affordability initiatives, and product launches.
- Define the customer problem, business opportunity, target audience, value proposition, and path to impact for growth initiatives.
- Develop frameworks to prioritize GTM investments and determine the appropriate level of support across initiatives.
- Create scalable playbooks for customer targeting, including audience strategy, targeting principles, and measurement approaches.
- Build analyses and models using SQL and Excel to assess customer behavior, business performance, incrementality, and return on investment.
- Develop test-and-learn plans and translate results into clear recommendations for future actions.
- Partner with Integrated Marketing, CRM, Paid Media, Creative, Product, Analytics, Finance, Partnerships, and Operations to bring strategies to market.
- Align teams on goals, audiences, measurement, timelines, risks, and decisions.
- Bring rigor and structure to a high volume of growth opportunities by creating clear prioritization frameworks, repeatable playbooks, planning cadences, and decision mechanisms.
- Ensure the highest-impact activations are prioritized, well-scoped, and efficiently executed.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, growth, business operations, product strategy, investment banking, or a related analytical and cross-functional environment.
- Exceptional organizational and program-management skills to create structure from ambiguous requests and opportunities.
- Experience building scalable frameworks, playbooks, and operating processes.
- Strong judgment and prioritization skills to distinguish between urgent, impactful, and non-essential tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build trust, influence senior stakeholders, and navigate competing priorities.
- Strong analytical skills, with comfort in independently pulling data in SQL and building models in Excel.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution and measurement.
- An operationally minded, low-ego approach with comfort in ambiguity and a drive to bring structure to complex work.
