- Assist the Associate Directors on larger-scale campaigns, maintaining and/or expanding upon existing visual identities and designs supporting the Marketing, Brand, Publicity, and School & Library teams.
- Own the creative process for assigned projects/campaigns from brief submission through routing, release, prototyping, and hard proofing, and maintain branded visual consistency across all campaign assets; liaise with Book Design to gather assets; brainstorm with team members as needed to define the scope of elements.
- Manage the schedule for assigned projects, proactively tracking on-time release in collaboration with project managers, marketers, and team members; manage file organization, backups, and archiving within marketing design servers for assigned projects.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally and assist directors in supporting freelancers when needed.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure all creative materials meet design objectives, partner requirements, and approval deadlines across multiple projects.
- Share current best practices and trends in design, actively suggesting ways to incorporate these learnings into campaigns.

- Working knowledge of print and digital file preparation and optimization, technical standards, color correction, design and manipulation of vector graphics, image retouching, and visual best practices, including layouts and typography, with familiarity in the Pantone Color System and color optimization of files.
- Imaginative and innovative thinker, excited to push the creative envelope and experiment with new techniques and technologies.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and highly motivated, with the ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Nimble multi-tasker with strong time management skills, comfortable shifting course and pivoting as needed.
