About the Role
Austin Oaks Hospital, a 80-bed behavioral health facility in South Austin, Texas, is seeking a passionate Inpatient Psychiatrist to join their dynamic team. The role involves providing compassionate, patient-focused care to adults in need, contributing to crisis resolution, self-awareness, personal growth, and professional excellence within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage an average caseload of 15 patients per day.
- Work Monday-Friday daytime hours with minimal weekends and on-call requirements.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to innovative and compassionate mental health care.
Requirements
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Psychiatry.
- Current Texas medical license in good standing or eligibility to obtain one.
- Must meet hospital credentialing requirements.
