About the Role

We are seeking a confident, motivated, and commercially aware Inside Sales Executive – Cross Trades who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and relationship-building skills, be highly organized, and enjoy collaborative work with colleagues and customers globally. A proactive, customer-focused approach and a desire to contribute to MSC's Cross Trades business success are essential.

Responsibilities

Process quotations and tenders accurately and in a timely manner, with ongoing account monitoring.
Build relationships and develop volume with the current client base while increasing the portfolio of accounts with new customers.
Utilize in-house systems including TMS, Link, and the One Vision Platform (OVQ, CRM, OVPricing).
Proactively solve business issues through close collaboration with MSC offices worldwide.
Contribute to a positive work climate with a flexible attitude, supporting colleagues and embodying MSC's brand values.

Requirements

Excellent attention to detail.
Experience within the container shipping or wider logistics industry is highly desirable.
Resilience under pressure with the ability to prioritize workloads and meet tight deadlines.
Confident communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams, MSC overseas offices, and customers.
Strong IT skills, particularly in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and PowerBI.
Team player with a strong work ethic, a proactive, solutions-focused mindset, and a positive 'can-do' attitude.
