About the Role
You will own the work that sits between our partners, our Ops team, and our Engineering team, turning it into scalable systems. You will scope, build, launch, and measure solutions for county-specific rules, deadlines, and evidence standards, as well as partner requests. Your responsibilities will evolve with the business, potentially including multi-property and affiliate partners, filing queues, CMA tools, or new state/product lines. You will make real decisions from day one, work directly with leadership, and have opportunities for rapid growth.
Responsibilities
- Scope work by translating messy problems from Ops, CX, Growth, or partners into clear requirements, edge cases, and acceptance criteria for Engineering.
- Design and execute small tests for new channels, markets, and tools, defining success metrics and deciding on scaling, modification, or termination.
- Own workstreams end-to-end, from research to launch and results, coordinating cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Manage partner relationships, including check-ins, launch coordination, and clear communication.
- Launch, measure, and iterate on products and tools, tracking key metrics and documenting learnings to inform future versions.
Requirements
- Must be in Austin or willing to relocate.
- Must work in person 5 days a week.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in operations, strategy, consulting, partnerships, or business operations, preferably at a startup or high-growth company.
- Proven experience researching, scoping, launching, and iterating on projects end-to-end with demonstrable results.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams to build products or managing external partners, ideally both.
- Comfortable using data, spreadsheets, and dashboards; SQL experience is a plus.
- Experience using AI daily to improve efficiency in specs, QA, and reporting, and to build custom tools.
