About the Role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing skilled repairs and maintenance within the apartment community, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents.
Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC repairs, cleaning, and replacements.
- Conduct plumbing repairs, part replacements, and installations.
- Execute carpentry repairs and installations of doors, shelves, countertops, and locks.
- Perform painting and drywall/plaster repairs.
- Handle electrical and appliance repairs, including lighting, wiring, and switch replacements.
- Repair and maintain machinery such as chillers, belts, and pumps.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in Commercial Property or Multi-Unit Residential Property.
- High School Diploma/GED (3-4 years of experience can offset this requirement).
- May require a valid driver's license.
- Computer and smartphone literacy required.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- May be required to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
