About the Role
Oversee the Operations department of their club in the delivery of Life Time’s cleanliness standards and provide leadership for the operations department in the fulfillment of Life Time’s mission statement.
Responsibilities
- Ensure locker rooms, fitness floors and common areas are clean, tidy and welcoming at all times
- Coach, manage and schedule up to 30 team members
- Train staff through orientation, direction, and feedback
- Recruit for the Operations department and provide recommendations to the General Manager on hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions
- Maintain the monthly, quarterly and annual department budget, including submitting monthly financial reports to the General Manager
- Complete operations payroll and ensure labor costs fall within budgetary guidelines
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of management experience
- Building operations experience
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
- Certified Pool Operations (CPO) license within 6 months of hire
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
- Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
