About the Role
Vida Shoes International is seeking a Showroom & Sample Coordinator to manage shipping, receiving, and sample organization for the Kids division. This role involves liaising between customers and factories, ensuring showrooms are presentable, and supporting design, sales, and merchandising teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage all shipping and receiving for the Kids division
- Manage showrooms, ensuring samples are presented and kept clean
- Manage sample storage, tracking confirmation and production samples
- Act as a liaison between customer sample requests and overseas factories
- Keep track of all sample requests for customers
- Log and report on all outgoing samples
- Support design, sales, and merchandising teams as needed
- Process sample approvals via WorkZon
Requirements
- A./B.S. degree or equivalent experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills
- Must be a problem solver with the ability to identify and create solutions
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Eager to learn the footwear product development process
- Must be able to move boxes and carry shoes throughout the building
- Hardworking with a passion for getting things done
