About the Role
RPM Raceway Syracuse is seeking a Manager on Duty (MOD) to lead daily operations, support the team, and create unforgettable guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee venue operations during shifts, ensuring exceptional service, safety, and operational excellence.
- Lead and support frontline team members.
- Ensure outstanding guest service and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
- Oversee race operations, attractions, arcade, food & beverage, and guest services.
- Coach, motivate, and develop team members while maintaining accountability.
- Monitor staffing levels, labor costs, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, safety standards, and procedures.
- Conduct opening, closing, and shift management responsibilities.
- Handle cash management, deposits, and daily reporting.
- Partner with venue leadership to drive sales, guest satisfaction, and team engagement.
Requirements
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality, entertainment, retail, restaurants, family entertainment centers, or similar environments.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to stand, walk, and actively manage operations throughout a shift.
