- Gather, analyse and validate business requirements, conducting gap analysis against regulatory expectations and existing operating models, facilitating cross-functional stakeholder engagement, and supporting the development and delivery of effective regulatory solutions.
- Support the delivery of strategic regulatory reporting transformation initiatives, including Basel 3.1, by coordinating cross-functional activities, managing risks and dependencies, supporting testing and implementation, driving process and system improvements, and helping define future-state operating models that enhance automation, controls and reporting efficiency.
- Support data and systems change initiatives by analysing business requirements, data flows and reporting platforms, improving data quality, and delivering effective regulatory reporting solutions.
- Support the delivery of strategic infrastructure and regulatory change programmes, partnering with stakeholders to drive effective implementation, process improvements and business outcomes.
- Manage third-party vendor relationships, ensuring the successful delivery of regulatory change initiatives through effective oversight of deliverables, risks, dependencies and issue resolution.
- Build and manage effective stakeholder relationships across the business, providing clear communication, governance reporting and delivery oversight to support the successful implementation of regulatory change initiatives.
- Maintain robust governance and documentation standards by recording key decisions and regulatory interpretations, ensuring audit readiness, promoting knowledge sharing, and reducing operational risk through effective documentation and collaboration.

- Experience working with regulatory reporting platforms such as Moody's Analytics, Vermeg or equivalent solutions.
- Good understanding of regulatory data governance, data quality frameworks and reporting controls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate regulatory reporting outputs.

About the Company
- At Metro Bank, we believe the best banking experience starts with people who genuinely care. We’re not just delivering banking services - we’re building trust through authentic connections. Here, our people come first; our colleagues are part of a team that values individuality, collaboration, and long-standing relationships. We are also all about balance so most of our jobs offer the opportunity for hybrid working built around your role and home life, wherever possible.
Equal Opportunity
- Diverse teams really are the best teams. We know that candidates (especially women, research tells us) may be put off applying for a job unless they can tick every box. We also know that ‘normal’ office hours aren’t always doable, and while we can’t accommodate every flexible working request we are happy to be asked. So if you are excited about working with us and think you can do much of what we are looking for but aren’t sure if you are 100% there yet… why not give it a whirl? Good luck!
