About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist for Building Automation to join our Service team, covering Northern and Eastern Germany.
Responsibilities
- Prepare offers (PSA & Prime Retrofit) and specifications based on customer-specific requirements and input from field sales, adhering to commercial and technical contract terms.
- Assist in project handover to Service, including scheduling (acceptance - PSA).
- Configure specified data volumes and field device masses for standard Johnson Controls products.
- Obtain and review quotes for material supplies and services from external suppliers and subcontractors in collaboration with Procurement.
- Secure all necessary approvals (OPS, Legal & Finance) using Salesforce E3.
- Collaborate closely with field sales until order placement, identifying potential risks.
- Prepare and contribute to the design and offer calculation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and optimization of the offer regarding both service profile and pricing.
- Participate in negotiation meetings as agreed with field sales.
- Conduct pre-bid meetings with subcontractors.
- Support customer events and trade fairs.
- Assist in the implementation of sales initiatives.
Requirements
- Successfully completed further training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) in automation technology or a comparable technical qualification in electrical engineering, building automation, or automation technology.
- Familiarity with common tools such as AutoCAD, Visio, and calculation software (e.g., THF Baumanager).
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
- Good English language skills are desirable.
