About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will primarily drive to conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while reporting security-related concerns.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking lots, perimeter locations, shipping and receiving zones, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-control issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate resources as needed.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Skills
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
