About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Security Engineer on a contract basis to enhance AI resilience and security within our engineering platform and developer workflows. This hands-on role involves building security controls, working across areas like secure agent execution, CI/CD, code security, production access, and software supply chain security. You will understand security challenges, develop practical controls, prototype and implement solutions, and collaborate with software engineers on application changes.

Responsibilities

Design, evaluate, and implement controls for secure autonomous agent execution, including policy enforcement, permissions, sandboxing, execution isolation, and auditability.
Evaluate and implement methods to detect vulnerable or unsafe code changes before merge, integrating security controls into CI/CD and pull request workflows.
Explore existing security tooling and AI-assisted approaches for code security, considering accuracy, false positives, bypasses, and usability.
Strengthen production access by implementing secure privileged-access controls, controlled access paths, least privilege, session controls, and auditability.
Adapt engineering tooling and workflows to support safer production access.
Strengthen CI/CD and software supply chain security, including secure builds, dependency and container scanning, provenance, artifact signing, SBOMs, and policy enforcement.
Build practical and maintainable security automation and platform controls for engineering teams.
Collaborate directly with Form3 engineers on technical design, prototyping, and implementation.
Contribute to broader security engineering efforts and collaborate with Form3 security specialists.
Produce clear technical documentation and handover materials.
Deliver changes using structured, low-risk practices while maintaining service availability.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, DevSecOps, or Platform Security with solid security fundamentals.
Proven experience implementing security controls directly, not just reviewing systems or reporting findings.
Strong understanding of CI/CD and modern software delivery, including integrating security controls into engineering workflows.
Good understanding of software supply chain security (e.g., dependency security, secure builds, provenance, signing, vulnerability management).
Good understanding of IAM, RBAC, and least privilege principles.
Experience with container security and practical Kubernetes knowledge.
Proficiency in writing automation or tooling in a programming language; Go or Python experience is beneficial, with a willingness to work in Go.
Experience collaborating with engineers to implement practical security improvements in production systems.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code experience is desirable.
Experience with AWS, GCP, or other public cloud platforms is desirable.
Security automation or policy-as-code experience is desirable.
Experience with container/runtime isolation or sandboxing is desirable.
Experience securing AI agents or other AI-enabled engineering tools is desirable.
Experience using LLMs for security analysis or automation is desirable.
Threat modeling experience is desirable.
Knowledge of mTLS, PKI, cryptography, or key management is desirable.
Experience in regulated, financial, or other business-critical environments is desirable.
