About the Role
Ignite Digital is seeking an AI Engineer to join our Data and AI team. This role combines expertise in machine learning and software engineering to deliver cutting-edge AI solutions. You will own the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, integrate models into applications, and ensure optimal performance in production environments. You will join a team supporting the company’s operations and be crucial in planning and executing projects, driving customer satisfaction through delivering Data and AI solutions. You will be responsible for understanding, planning, and communicating technical opportunities and limitations, working with both DnA team members and customers to satisfy customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, select models, train, and evaluate performance.
- Embed AI models into frontend and backend systems.
- Reduce latency and cost while maintaining accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with Technical Lead to ensure robust deployment and monitoring of AI solutions.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in machine learning fundamentals and software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Python, cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and application frameworks.
- Ability to design, implement, and evaluate models for real-world business use cases.
- Experience with APIs, microservices, and system integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, statistics, or similar.
- Experience with MLOps practices for scalable deployment.
- Experience in government or defense projects with security compliance.
- Knowledge of observability tools and performance monitoring.
- Extensive knowledge of Snowflake, Python, Azure, GitHub.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Customer service focused with strong consulting ability.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
