About the Role

Develop the test strategy and concepts for team releases, coordinating scope, types, data, and acceptance criteria with Product Owners, Development, and Business departments. Plan and manage test activities per sprint and release, prioritizing risks and focusing on coverage, environments, and deadlines. Build and expand the automated regression and end-to-end test suite, integrating it into the GitLab-CI/CD pipeline for real-time quality feedback.

Responsibilities

Develop the test strategy and concepts for team releases.
Coordinate test scope, types, data, and acceptance criteria with Product Owners, Development, and Business departments.
Plan and manage test activities per sprint and release, prioritizing risks.
Focus on test coverage, test environments, and deadlines.
Build and expand the automated regression and end-to-end test suite.
Integrate the test suite into the GitLab-CI/CD pipeline.
Evaluate test results and manage defects.
Report test progress and quality status transparently to the team and management.
Collaborate closely with developers and external QA colleagues.
Actively share methods and automation know-how.
Document standards, templates, and automation components for independent continuation by the team.

Requirements

Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience.
Several years of experience in software testing and test planning or test management.
Practical experience in test automation of UI tests and interface tests.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (ideally GitLab CI).
Proficient in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Experience with Jira for test case and defect management.
Analytical thinking, structured and self-responsible working style.
Ability to communicate quality risks understandably.
Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English skills.
Knowledge of healthcare business processes, especially Medical Services (desirable).
