About the Role
OPENLANE makes wholesale easy so customers can be more successful. We are seeking a dedicated Vehicle Inspection Specialist to join our inspection solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection process on various vehicles either at a lessee’s home or place of business or at a dealership, and perform inventory audits as needed.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the inspection of vehicles for signs of wear, tear, neglect, damage, previous repair, or structural damage.
- Complete road tests as needed.
- Perform inventory audits as needed.
- Help in unexpected ways when the day changes.
Requirements
- Must have a strong work ethic.
- Must pass motor vehicle/criminal background checks.
- Must possess a full and valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Must be willing to travel daily and have reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to work in an outdoor environment with varying weather conditions.
Skills
- Observant
- Knowledgeable in using technology such as mobile inspection tools, OBD Scanners, paint meters, and other industry leading hardware and software.
- Safety conscious
