About the Role
This role is integral to the planning of a school's network technology refresh program for a large K-12 client. The candidate will review, interpret, and create preliminary designs as part of a Survey and Design team, focusing on making technology easy and helping clients use it effectively.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and understanding site survey documents and existing as built for wired and wireless networks
- Comprehending and adhering to Program’s technical standards
- Navigating Excel to interpret survey documents and produce deliverables
- Completing all program-defined deliverables in a timely manner
- Following standard procedures to generate network designs and other related documents for configuration and integration
- Working within a team environment or independently
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel, creation of macros, VBA, advance functions, and pivot tables
- Understanding of VLANs and Network infrastructure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding in Networking technologies
- Cisco Infrastructure experience/knowledge
