About the Role
We are seeking a social pedagogue to join our school social work team, focusing on school-related social work for the Schweizerhof elementary school in Steglitz-Zehlendorf. This position is available immediately.
Responsibilities
- Design social-pedagogical afternoon programs to foster social skills and self-esteem in students (potential topics: media literacy, stress reduction, sensorimotor development, fighting by rules, etc.)
- Actively participate in shaping the new, weekly learning format "FREI Day" (every Thursday morning)
- Serve as a point of contact in conflict and crisis situations
- Coordinate closely with pedagogical staff and school administration
Requirements
- State-recognized degree in social pedagogy/social work (Diploma, Bachelor, Master)
- Interest and enjoyment in working with children and adolescents
- Experience in pedagogical individual and group work, as well as parent work
- Variety of methods and creative ideas for pedagogical offerings
- Empathy and sensitivity, as well as a structured, independent way of working
