About the Role
Seven Senders is seeking a Working Student Accounting to support the Accounting team with accounts payable and the monthly closing process. This role reports to the Senior GL Accountant and works closely with the AP Accountant, contributing to accurate accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Register and process incoming supplier invoices, following up on missing approvals.
- Process employee expense claims and verify against policy.
- Maintain the accounts payable subledger, including vendor master data and open-item clearing.
- Support the monthly closing with general ledger account reconciliations and preparation of recurring postings.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks, including accounts receivable work and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Ability to work up to 20 hours per week during the semester.
- Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
- Confident in Excel.
- Ability to work accurately, structured, and reliably.
- Quick learner with an interest in process simplification and automation.
- Fluent English language skills.
