About the Role
As our Brand Activation Manager – Festivals, you will own festival activations end-to-end, from concept development to onsite execution. You will create unforgettable brand experiences for hundreds of thousands of festivalgoers, manage partners and onsite teams, and collaborate with internal teams to drive performance. This role is for someone who loves live events, thrives under pressure, and can turn creative concepts into flawless execution.
Responsibilities
- Independently plan and execute assigned festival projects, from initial concept and budgeting to production, onsite execution and evaluation.
- Manage timelines, stakeholders and deliverables, taking on increasingly complex festivals with support from our Senior Brand Activation Manager.
- Develop exciting activation concepts, sampling mechanics and creative brand moments that make HOLY stand out in a crowded festival environment.
- Turn ambitious ideas into realistic execution plans that engage festivalgoers, drive product trial and create lasting Brand Love.
- Work directly with festival organizers, rights holders, agencies, production partners and external service providers.
- Coordinate infrastructure, logistics, staffing and promoter briefings, lead temporary onsite teams and ensure every activation meets HOLY's high quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with Partnerships, Community and Content to turn festival activations into integrated brand experiences.
- Own assigned project budgets, track KPIs such as Trials, Reach, New Customers and Brand Love, and use visitor feedback and performance data to continuously improve future activations.
- Proactively bring new ideas, identify opportunities and contribute to the development of our Festivals roadmap.
- Help build scalable activation concepts, playbooks and processes, share learnings across the team and support the rollout of successful formats in international markets.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in festival management, live events, brand activation or experiential marketing – ideally having worked on large-scale festival activations for consumer brands.
- Experience managing own events or significant project workstreams from planning through onsite execution.
- Structured, reliable and comfortable coordinating complex productions, multiple suppliers, budgets and tight timelines.
- Takes responsibility, thinks ahead and knows when to involve others in more complex decisions.
- Strong sense for what makes a brand stand out at festivals.
- Brings fresh ideas and knows how to turn them into concepts that actually work onsite.
- Confident working with festival organizers, rights holders, agencies, promoters and internal teams.
- Communicates proactively, aligns different stakeholders and brings people together to make great things happen.
- Thrives in the fast-paced world of festivals, stays calm when plans change and finds pragmatic solutions under pressure.
- Willing to roll up sleeves, take responsibility onsite and make things happen.
- Understands that great festival activations should deliver measurable impact, not just look impressive.
- Curious, proactive and excited to take on increasingly complex projects while helping HOLY continuously improve its festival presence.
