About the Role
As a Director, you will lead our CFO advisory work, serving as the senior face of Unity on engagements and the trusted advisor for CFOs when outcomes matter most. You will set direction, win and grow work with Partners, and coach delivery teams, helping to shape our AI-powered Office of CFO proposition.
Responsibilities
- Lead large finance engagements from diagnostic to measurable results.
- Maintain senior relationships with CFOs and leadership teams, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Set direction for future-state finance operating models and roadmaps, presenting confidently at board level.
- Guide the redesign of core finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A) with practical, lasting solutions.
- Oversee cloud ERP and EPM implementations, automation, data platforms, and AI-enabled analytics.
- Manage engagement commercials, including scope, fees, margin, resourcing, and risk.
- Drive new business by leading proposals and pitches, and growing existing clients with Partners.
- Contribute to building our Office of CFO proposition, thought leadership, and go-to-market strategy.
- Coach and develop Senior Managers and Managers, actively participating in their career progression.
- Participate in hiring and team building to support company growth.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience, with significant time in consulting or advisory roles.
- Hands-on experience with AI and current tools/approaches, with a willingness to explore new ones.
- Proven track record of leading large, complex transformation programs from diagnostic to adoption.
- Credibility with CFOs and C-suite leaders, with a history of winning and growing client work.
- Deep expertise in ERP and EPM platforms, process redesign, operating model design, and data/analytics.
- Experience designing and delivering tech-enabled finance solutions (automation, data platforms, AI analytics).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop senior teams, including performance management and career support.
- Strong commercial judgment, including pricing, proposals, delivery margin, and client growth.
- A finance or accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA).
