About the Role
Join us as a Senior Product Engineer (iOS/Swift) to build and maintain the mobile app that 750,000 customers across Europe use for their daily business finances, ensuring its speed and reliability as it grows. You will be part of a squad, working closely with a team lead, Product, Design, and Frontend and Backend engineers.
Responsibilities
- Own features end to end, taking mobile features from technical design to production.
- Handle critical architecture and UI work that customers use daily.
- Solve real-time synchronization challenges and lead new initiatives within the squad's scope.
- Raise code quality through continuous refactoring, unit tests, and snapshot tests.
- Migrate screens to SwiftUI (MVVM, async/await) as part of the ongoing migration.
- Collaborate with back-end teams, designers, and product managers to ensure a shared team vision.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a native mobile engineer with strong Swift skills.
- Deep understanding of the iOS SDK and development lifecycle.
- Commitment to best practices such as unit testing (XCTest, FBSnapshots), clean code, and SOLID principles.
- Ability to deliver tangible value in a fast-moving context and pick the simplest effective solution.
- Clear communication in English and ability to work well with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Enjoyment of learning new technologies and using AI tools to improve work.
