About the Role
We work with asset & wealth managers on how they most effectively sell to and service their clients, focusing on the end-to-end client lifecycle, supporting processes, operating models, and technology. This role is key to building our fast-growing Client Reporting practice, delivering large and complex projects, and acting as a senior leader on client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of large programmes or workstreams, owning the plan, governance, risks, and outcomes.
- Design the target state client reporting offering, including efficient processes and target operating models.
- Act as the senior business-side lead on client reporting technology platform implementations (e.g., Kurtosys, SimCorp, Vermillion), collaborating with technology teams.
- Manage mixed teams of internal and client staff, setting quality standards, delegating effectively, and developing team members.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with client sponsors and senior stakeholders, including navigating difficult conversations.
- Serve as a sparring partner to practice leadership, contributing ideas for proposition development and driving implementation.
- Coach and mentor consultants, and contribute to hiring processes.
- Continuously evaluate and improve practice operations, identifying areas for improvement and new initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong consulting experience is essential, or genuinely consultative industry experience in a recognizable shape.
- Experience in asset management, wealth management, or a closely related financial services area.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale change as a programme manager, lead project manager, or design lead, with ownership of delivery, governance, and outcomes.
- Experience with large technology-enabled transformation programmes, including front-end design and strategy.
- Strong people leadership experience, including team management and accountability for output quality.
- Confidence and credibility to operate independently with senior client stakeholders and lead discussions in senior forums.
- Experience developing or refining propositions, segment strategies, or service models (nice to have).
- Experience supporting pitch processes, including defining team structures, work plans, and delivery approaches (nice to have).
