About the Role
As a Contract Management Officer (CODO), you will bridge contract management, process optimization, and application support. You will coordinate cross-functional topics, develop contract frameworks and digital workflows, and ensure the reliable operation of applications, billing processes, and interfaces used by the business unit. You will collaborate closely with internal departments, European support functions, and external service providers. As a key user, you will translate requirements into actionable solutions, manage their implementation, and support teams with clear information, training, and practical guides.
Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-functional and cross-departmental projects and act as a key user.
- Respond to technical inquiries within deadlines or coordinate and direct them to the appropriate stakeholders within the business unit.
- Create analyses, reports, and presentations relevant to departments and projects.
- Identify necessary revisions and extensions to contracts and implement them with responsible service providers in our IT applications.
- Contribute to the development of processes and business applications, working closely with European support functions.
- Coordinate with departments and external service providers to ensure structured implementation of requirements.
- Create tickets for application corrections or enhancements and review and test their correct implementation.
- Ensure the daily performance of applications, billing processes, and interfaces used by the business unit.
- Conduct error and root cause analyses, initiate appropriate measures, and oversee their sustainable resolution.
- Train and inform teams about application developments and changes in contract frameworks.
- Create clear instructions, checklists, and other work documents for practical application in daily business.
Requirements
- Completed university or university of applied sciences degree, ideally with a Master's degree, in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a comparable field.
- At least three years of specialized professional experience.
- Strong interest in contract and project management.
- Sound knowledge of operational processes in the gas station sector is advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Good SAP knowledge.
- Knowledge of JDE is an additional plus.
- Resilient, system-savvy, and analytically strong.
- Quickly grasp complex contexts and translate them into practical solutions.
- Hands-on mentality, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
- Very good German language skills (written and spoken).
- Business fluent English language skills.
