About the Role
This role sits within our Design Management Group. You will work closely with departments across the business to facilitate collaboration, contractual governance, clarify scope and design responsibilities, monitor and report on project progress, and ensure the highest standards of design delivery are achieved. The focus will be leading and facilitating effective design delivery across all design disciplines, alongside the project lead, to achieve the best outcomes for the project(s) and in alignment with our contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the project initiation and set-up procedures.
- Perform day-to-day design management duties in alignment with per-project contractual obligations and best-practice standards.
- Manage project close out procedures including client sign-off and payment.
- Support the implementation of the Design Management Discipline within the Populous Group under the guidance of others.
Requirements
- Experience across large scale, complex projects is advantageous.
- Ability to manage and drive a high performing design team to deliver projects aligned to project objectives.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, social and organizational skills.
Skills
- Proficient skills in relevant project management software packages to perform the role, e.g. MS Projects.
