About the Role
New Relic is seeking a Solutions Consultant to deliver their solutions to customers in collaboration with partners. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for technical sales, including consultants, pre-sales engineers, or developers who frequently interact with customers. New Relic has a track record of successfully transitioning technically skilled engineers into excellent Solutions Consultants, and comprehensive onboarding training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical consulting and enablement to partners to promote their adoption of New Relic and expand collaborative business.
- Create customer presentations that clearly articulate the value of New Relic solutions in relation to customer requirements.
- Build and present compelling proof-of-concept demos for customers.
- Contribute to spreading awareness of New Relic solutions through event presentations, technical documentation, and training.
- Collaborate with New Relic Sales, Solutions Consultants, and Technical Account Managers on sales opportunities.
- Adhere to New Relic's core values: responsible, daring, authentic, passionate, and consistent.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as Project Management or Sales Activities.
- Experience as a Pre-sales Engineer, Technical Consultant/Architect, System Operations Administrator, or Software Developer.
- Interest in and hands-on experience with the latest technologies.
- Knowledge or experience in application/infrastructure operations, including operational monitoring and system administration design.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Ability to read and write English at a level sufficient for communication with international team members via Slack or email.
