About the Role
Develop models and insights to predict charging behavior, optimize billing, and improve customer engagement. Combine advanced statistical methods with business acumen to shape product and financial strategies in the e-mobility sector. Own the end-to-end customer behavior pipeline from raw data to AI agents.
Responsibilities
- Analyze charging data, billing flows, and customer usage to identify drivers of revenue, cost, and engagement.
- Build predictive models for churn, load forecasting, pricing, and promotion effectiveness.
- Forecast future churn and customer behavior, including identifying drivers of churn and at-risk revenue.
- Build and maintain dbt models in Snowflake for charging sessions, contracts, and customer behavior with clear grain, tests, and documentation.
- Develop and govern the semantic layer for consistent KPI definitions (e.g., active customers, churn, kWh).
- Own the end-to-end customer behavior pipeline, including monitoring and monthly forecast vs. actuals checks.
- Build AI agents on top of the semantic layer to answer business questions reliably with guardrails.
- Design and evaluate A/B tests and other experiments to validate product and commercial initiatives.
- Develop advanced analytics in Snowflake and PostgreSQL, leveraging Python or R for modeling.
- Translate complex models into actionable insights and communicate results to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with analysts and engineers to ensure data availability, quality, and scalability.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in data science, ideally in mobility, energy, or fintech.
- Strong SQL skills (Snowflake, PostgreSQL) and solid experience with Python (or R).
- Hands-on experience with dbt and with defining metrics in a semantic or metrics layer.
- Proven track record of applying ML and statistical models to real-world business problems, including churn or time-series forecasting with honest validation.
- Practical experience building with LLMs or AI agents, and the habit of checking what they produce.
- Experience with experimentation frameworks and advanced statistical methods.
- Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) for storytelling and insight communication.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to bridge technical outputs with strategic decisions.
