About the Role
JASPER Engines & Transmissions is seeking motivated individuals to join their team in Leavenworth, IN. They offer comprehensive training programs, including a 5-day JET101 program and hands-on training, to equip you with the necessary skills for success, even without prior automotive experience. Responsibilities
- Assembling heads on unit, installing push rods, lifters, and rockers.
- Disassembling entire units, including removal of screws, rings, seals, gears, and valve body.
- Loading disassembled parts into baskets for washing.
- Pulling and restocking parts.
- Picking up and delivering orders throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Prepping, disassembling, washing, and final assembly of small parts.
- Inspecting each part thoroughly to determine the quality of the finished product.
- Repairing worn bolt holes, welding cracks, sanding and grinding parts to a smooth finish.
- Operating a forklift to load and upload trailers and inspect product.
Requirements
- Willing to learn; on-the-job training provided.
- Must be reliable.
- Ability to multi-task (in some positions).
- Must be process-oriented and willing to follow established procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand or walk for an entire shift (8-10 hours).
