Responsibilities
- Initiate automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests.
- Verify warranty and service contract coverage.
- Develop estimates for services and repairs.
- Write repair orders and maintain customer records.
- Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician.
- Prepare repair orders (RO), obtain approval signatures, and enter RO into the service database system.
- Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
- Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
- Inform customers of service specials, completion times, and service expenses.
Requirements
- Bilingual preferred.
- Previous Service Advisor experience preferred.
- Prior experience as an automotive technician is a plus.
- Must be a team player focused on providing exemplary customer service.
- Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
- Must have open availability, including Saturdays.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be a drug-free workplace.
