About the Role
This is an entry-level position for a Sales Assistant/Delivery Coordinator at Armory Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat of Albany. The role involves managing vehicle deliveries, cross-training in various business aspects, and reporting to the General Sales Manager. It offers an opportunity to learn about the auto industry within a Fortune 200 company.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Sales Department to manage the delivery of vehicles sold each day.
- Gain familiarity with all processes and paperwork necessary to complete a vehicle sales transaction.
- Explain delivery paperwork to customers.
- Answer all questions, including the availability, cost, and benefit of aftermarket products.
- Introduce customers to the services provided by our Service Department.
- Review operational features of the vehicle that is being delivered.
- Contribute to a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
- Deliver/pick-up vehicles for customers and other dealerships.
- Prep and park vehicles.
- Assist customers and fellow associates in the delivery of our products and services.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
- Willing to work nights and weekends.
- Experience preferred but will train.
- Must be a drug-free workplace participant.
