About the Role
Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is seeking a Seasonal Bartender to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to employees and guests at meetings, courses, and special events.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages
- Operate POS system in Bar
- Provide support to the Bar manager, including clientele feedback and product inventory information
- Monitor alcohol consumption to control over indulgence and exercise necessary action to avoid over consumption
- Follow standard sanitation procedures
Requirements
- T.I.P.S. training and/or bartending school a plus
- Catering and bar experience a plus
- Familiarity with rules of club liquor license
- Familiarity with a variety of coffee, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Knowledge of alcoholic drink preparation recipes
- Money management skills
- Ability to troubleshoot bar equipment and perform minor repairs
- Organizational skills
