About the Role
Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is seeking a hardworking individual for the position of Utility/Dishwasher. This role involves cleaning dishes and food-related items, sanitizing food preparation areas, and performing general cleaning to maintain a sanitary environment. A sign-on bonus is offered.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning of dishes and other food related items
- Sanitization of food prep areas
- General cleaning activities necessary to maintain a cleanly environment
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform bending and stretching
- Work environment can be seasonally hot & humid
- Some exposure to cold in walk-in freezer
- Some exposure to out-of-doors conditions and noise
- Pressure due to peak workload period
