About the Role
As a Parts Advisor, you will provide vehicle parts and merchandise to customers while delivering exceptional customer service. You will report to the Parts Manager in this on-site position.
Responsibilities
- Answer telephones and greet customers and vendors.
- Maintain a clean work area and stockroom.
- Work with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
- Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.
- Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas.
- Take inventory, maintain records of goods received, and keep perpetual inventory controls.
- Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
- Process core returns, parts warranties, and parts returns.
Requirements
- 2+ years dealership parts advisor experience required.
- CDK experience preferred.
- Understand basic automotive components and systems.
- Automotive dealership service experience is a plus.
- Any automotive certifications is a plus.
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
- Must have open availability, including Saturdays.
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
- Drug-free workplace.
