About the Role
Join Qonto as a Staff Product Manager, Accounting Europe to simplify accounting for SMEs and accountants across European markets, starting with Germany. You will work under the guidance of Paul Mourot, our Head of Product for Accounting.
Responsibilities
- Build an accounting page that surfaces existing building blocks and integrations, starting with Connect.
- Engage with SMEs, accountants, and tax advisors to understand their habits and needs.
- Combine existing building blocks to deliver value quickly and shape future product development.
- Define the product direction for accounting in Germany, utilizing AI for prototyping and testing.
- Adapt the accounting offer for each European market and segment, from small businesses to SMEs and accountants.
Requirements
- Native German fluency and strong English proficiency for local customer interaction and European team collaboration.
- Demonstrated customer obsession through user engagement and translation of feedback into product decisions.
- Proven experience scaling a product from inception or significantly growing an existing one, with an outcome-oriented mindset.
- Strong systems thinking ability to identify reusable components, determine new builds, and make necessary trade-offs.
- Proficiency in using AI to accelerate research, specifications, and prototyping, viewing AI as a product lever.
