About the Role
Hex is seeking a talent leader to build a repeatable, data-driven recruiting engine that translates Hex’s culture. You will shape how the company finds people, the candidate experience, and the underlying systems and data, focusing on hiring individuals who can change the company's trajectory. This role involves using Hex itself to enhance the hiring process and attract unique talent.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a team of exceptional recruiters.
- Define and implement a structured and consistent hiring bar, including rubrics and interviewer training.
- Build a data-driven recruiting engine, owning the technology stack and optimizing processes.
- Partner with leads to shape roles, provide strategic input on team building, and advise on hiring profiles.
- Identify and recruit individuals who are 'out of distribution' and possess unique qualities.
- Run searches yourself alongside the team, especially in the first six months.
Requirements
- Possess a strong theory of talent and a clear point of view on recruiting.
- Act as a true partner to leads, understanding business needs and co-designing roles.
- Demonstrate a builder mentality, focusing on automation and increasing leverage.
- Experience leading and developing a recruiting team.
- Ability to maintain and elevate a high hiring bar.
- Direct, warm, and low-ego communication style.
- Willingness to run searches directly as part of the role.
