About the Role
Join Qonto as a People Data Analyst to transform HR data into clear insights and support better-informed decisions. You will work closely with People Systems teammates, HRBPs, and partners across People and Finance, combining hands-on analysis with HR knowledge to answer questions, enhance dashboards, and improve stakeholder data utilization.
Responsibilities
- Turn People data into actionable insights by exploring topics like turnover, absenteeism, and performance, investigating trends, and communicating findings with clear analyses and concise recommendations.
- Build and improve dashboards and reporting, creating reliable, easy-to-use reports, maintaining consistent metric definitions, and helping stakeholders understand data.
- Keep People data reliable and usable by validating data, documenting calculations, and contributing to mandatory reporting while adhering to access, confidentiality, and GDPR requirements.
- Support HRBPs in daily decisions by translating their questions into relevant analyses, discussing useful KPIs, and providing documentation and guidance to increase their autonomy.
- Contribute to workforce and talent analyses by preparing datasets, reports, and analytical inputs for headcount planning, compensation reviews, and talent reviews in collaboration with the team.
- Use AI to improve work by applying it to analytical and reporting tasks, testing time-saving methods, and verifying the accuracy and reliability of outputs.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in People Analytics, HR reporting, or a data analytics role with substantial HR exposure, ideally in a tech company or scale-up.
- Solid understanding of HR processes, including compensation reviews, talent reviews, and HRBP activities.
- Ability to understand the questions behind a reporting request and discuss whether a metric addresses them.
- Comfortable using SQL, Excel, and BI tools for data manipulation, trend analysis, and dashboard creation.
- Experience with HRIS reporting, particularly Workday, is a plus.
- Ability to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders, ask useful questions, and differentiate data-supported conclusions from areas needing further investigation.
- Reliable delivery and collaborative working habits, with the ability to progress independently on defined analyses, keep stakeholders informed, and flag blockers or competing priorities early.
- Practical experience using AI in work, including explaining efficiency improvements, result verification, and sensitive information protection.
- Professional fluency in English; French is a strong plus.
