About the Role
This is a permanent role for a Senior Business Analyst working as part of cross-functional teams and partnering closely with business stakeholders to enable successful implementation of change initiatives. The role requires 50% attendance onsite in London.
Responsibilities
- Complete business analysis activities and artefacts within a project or programme, adhering to governance.
- Define, analyse, refine, and enable the delivery of the product roadmap and backlog items in collaboration with the product team.
- Produce or contribute to the BA approach, socialising it with stakeholders.
- Deliver BA services on projects, programmes, or product teams.
- Build trusted relationships with business, technology colleagues, and third parties.
- Contribute to the development of BAs and Junior BAs on the initiative.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working within financial institutions, delivering projects related to Banking and payments, with a focus on Trading, Investment, Banking and/or Treasury.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle, with practical knowledge of Agile, Product Management, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Skilled in developing and using operating models and business processes, including BPMN 2.0.
- Strong experience in eliciting, analysing, and managing complex business requirements.
- Experience working on large-scale transformation projects.
- Experience using data and insight to influence decision making and drive change.
- Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Ability to engage large and diverse groups and manage uncertainty effectively.
