About the Role
Own the demand forecast, inventory health, and fulfillment planning for Pocket's physical products sold across DTC, Amazon, retail, and international markets. Monitor demand, identify stock risks, and coordinate with fulfillment partners to ensure product availability while optimizing cash flow. This is a hands-on role on a lean team, requiring process building with imperfect data to directly influence availability, delivery speed, and shipping cost.
Responsibilities
- Daily demand monitoring and weekly forecast across channels, SKUs, and colorways
- Manage reorder points, safety stock, days of coverage, and purchase order recommendations
- Identify stockout and overstock risks with clear mitigation plans
- Plan Amazon FBA shipments and manage inventory health across marketplaces
- Execute day-to-day operations with 3PL and fulfillment partners
- Optimize inventory placement across warehouses to balance availability, delivery speed, and cost
- Reconcile inventory and fulfillment data across systems
- Track core metrics including forecast accuracy, in-stock rate, inventory turns, days of coverage, and fulfillment cost
Requirements
- 1-3 years in supply chain, demand planning, inventory, or fulfillment operations for a physical product
- Experience building and maintaining a real forecast and explaining its inaccuracies
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Comfort working with messy data from multiple systems
- Strong understanding of lead times, safety stock, reorder points, and MOQs
- High attention to detail and ownership of work accuracy
- Proactive and resourceful in problem-solving with minimal direction
- Experience with Amazon FBA, 3PLs, WMS/ERP systems, SQL, or high-growth ecommerce is a strong plus
