About the Role
Nandos is hiring Front of House staff for roles including Cashier, Food Runner, and Host. We offer a fun, casual work environment with a focus on teamwork and providing an excellent guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Guide the Nando's experience at the register, accurately managing transactions and balancing the register.
- Act as a menu expert, guiding customer selections and entering orders accurately.
- Ensure food reaches the correct guest in a timely manner.
- Transport food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate table and announce the food to the guest.
- Keep a smile on while cleaning, setting, and resetting tables, and performing side duties.
- Be the first impression for guests entering the restaurant.
- Explain the unique service style in a friendly, fun, and approachable manner.
- Exemplify superior service and poise under pressure.
- Welcome guests and leave a lasting impression.
Requirements
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Commitment to quality service.
- Food and beverage knowledge.
- Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
- Basic English language and professional communication skills are required.
